MSD Ignition and Late Model Applications The following Blaster Coils can be used in stock applications, but do not include a ballast resistor. When you are using an MSD Ignition Control, the Ignition is responsible for delivering the voltage to the coil so a ballast is not necessary.
The Blaster 3 Coil features an extra tall tower design to improve the coil wire attachment and spark isolation.
Blaster 2F coil features the same "horseshoe" connector that the stock Ford Duraspark Ignition used to have. With this coil, there is no need to cut the wires!
